I work in debenhams; this person walked in & I offered to give him assistance. I was taken back by his style of dressing & features, not to mention his Scottish accent. We don’t get people like him through the door every day…

He came in to buy aftershaves, he bought top three in the store & asked me which women’s fragrance I liked. I told him I quite like the smell of Euphoria by Calvin Klein. So he asked me to wrap one up and attach a card with it…

He then asked for my name & started to write on the card * I did not think anything of it*, he asked me if I was single & I simply smiled *I was shy, I did not want to seem desperate although I am single* so he gave me the fragrance & said its not what you look on the outside, its more to do with your inner beauty* and smiled…

He walked out of the store and never looked back, Its been a month & he has never come back in. why did I not tell him I was single, I beat myself over it every day.

What do you think his intensions were? Because although I think buying a strange women fragrance is really strange but what man ever does that in today’s society?

Oh my God that was so nice. What chivalry eh?? Dont beat about the bush. Just be happy that he did that. You never know you might see him again, if not look at it this way! You go a great perfume out of it. Keep up with the great customer service as well.

Ummmm….in fact I was asking whether the fragrances & beauties of flowers are similar to the attitudes of using fragrances & over-cosmetics by the street-girls at red-light areas?
Nikhilesh, my friend, agreed at some extent but refused to admit the whole! He counter-asked me,"What’s the differences between ATTITUDE & REASON?" I don’t know why he asked such question!

Philosophically you’ve asked an excellent question but realistically it’s simple stupidity. My respect increased towards Nikhiles, your friend. Yes, the purpose of flowers’ fragrances & beauties are similar to the "attitudes" of street-girls those use fragrance (strong-perfume) & beauties using over-cosmetics. Both (flowers & street-girls) apply their such quality to "attract"——–now the question is whether this is their ‘attitude’? Your friend Nikhilesh was right. There is a difference between ‘attitude’ & ‘reason’. A ROSE with all it’s fragrances & beauties remains ROSE in any part of the world. Roses may vary yet they remain ROSES! Fragrances & beauties of flowers are not their attitude; rather it’s their REASON…..reason for natural pollination. Yes, flowers attract insects by their fragrances & beauties. But street-girls’ intention is their attitude to "catch" passerby by their over-cosmetics, over-perfume. It’s not ‘natural, it’s artificial. With different perfume & different make-up, using different cosmetics, one particular street-girl may changes….even I’ve heard that they use different ‘names’ at different times for the sake of hide & seek play! So, Nikhilesh was right. Flowers have the REASON but the so-called street-girls have their ATTITUDE (Logical or nasty—that’s not countable here).
