On Saturday, the Black Knights beat Northwestern 21-14! Their record is now 1-2.
“They played on the edge,” Army coach Rich Ellerson told the Associated Press. “We have a chance now. We needed one of these three. We’ve grown each week, they’ve been able to stay together and make some mistakes. We got our nose bloodied a couple of times, and we struggled doing some things, but we stayed together and we believed in ourselves.”
This Saturday the team plays away at Ball State.
