Does the beauty and fragrance presented by opening flowers speak to you of the Master Craftsman’s love for us?

Does the beauty and fragrance presented by opening flowers speak to you of the Master Craftsman’s love for us?

yes, indeed. Because I know He didn’t have to make them that way.

He could have just made them in various shades of green, blending in with the grass, with just enough fragrance to attract pollinators — but He didn’t.

He could have made them pretty much all alike, with only slight variations in the coloring, & those only detectable by insects with specialised eyes such as bees — but He didn’t.

My daughter once asked me why G-d made some people dark. I told her, "G-d likes variety. He doesn’t make all the birds the same, does he ?"
She said "no." I continued, "He doesn’t make every flower the same, does he ?" again, "no."
"so," I said, "he doesn’t make all people the same, either. He loves us all, and he makes each one special."

& if evolution is true, then why so are there so many different aspects in color, iridescence, smell, etc., if the only purpose is to propagate the species ?

He decorates the world for our delight. That some people can’t decipher His signature doesn’t mean it isn’t there.

  1. no, it signifies that i need to go back to the doctors and get a repeat prescription of flixonase.

  2. No, it signifies that flowers co-evolved with pollinating insects so as to have the bright colors and strong fragrances that attract said insects, who in turn co-evolved along with the flowers to find bright colors and strong fragrances attractive.

The fact that we find flowers to be pretty and pleasant-smelling is a nice evolutionary fluke.

  4. Sure as long as having a fatal anaphylactic reaction to a sting from the bee that lived within that beautiful and fragrant flower speaks of his hate for us

  5. Yes, it certainly does! His love is so intoxicating. He loves us wildly and with abandon.

  6. 1: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
My paraphrased version: The heavens talk to us about how absolutely amazing our God is, the earth shows all the miraculous creations of his hands.

My question to mankind is are you listening and watching???

Yes creation does speak to me of God’s love for me and all of you!
I absolutely love to see flowers bloom and flourish. It is a picture of God

  8. I am amazed by His imagination: He made every color, scent, and texture that goes into flowers (and pretty much everything else). I adore flowers, especially lilacs. :o )
