    Shiseido Feminité du Bois turns into pure cumin on me after about 15 mins. I really like how it smells out of the bottle, but on my skin it just brings out that one note. Do you remember how it smells on you? :) I just wanted to also say “thank you” Katie–for making high quality, intelligent perfume videos on youtube. I think you have great taste in perfume–i love your reviews and your collection videos! keep them coming. :)

    I should have looked again before I asked you. I haven’t bought new in nearly a year and a half, and at that time Nordstrom no longer had it and I could find it nowhere online, only the eau de parfum was available. So thanks! (smiles sheepishly)

  23. Realistically, you …
    Realistically, you should use up your perfume as soon as you can (as opposed to saving it for a special occasions), because it will only last anywhere from 1-5 years. If you store away from heat/light, you’ll eek more life out of them. In a “do as I say, not as I do” mode, I think that quality trumps quantity in a perfume collection. It kind of makes more sense to have a handful of fragrances that you love and get a lot of use out of!
