I work in debenhams; this person walked in & I offered to give him assistance. I was taken back by his style of dressing & features, not to mention his Scottish accent. We don’t get people like him through the door every day…
He came in to buy aftershaves, he bought top three in the store & asked me which women’s fragrance I liked. I told him I quite like the smell of Euphoria by Calvin Klein. So he asked me to wrap one up and attach a card with it…
He then asked for my name & started to write on the card * I did not think anything of it*, he asked me if I was single & I simply smiled *I was shy, I did not want to seem desperate although I am single* so he gave me the fragrance & said its not what you look on the outside, its more to do with your inner beauty* and smiled…
He walked out of the store and never looked back, Its been a month & he has never come back in. why did I not tell him I was single, I beat myself over it every day.
What do you think his intensions were? Because although I think buying a strange women fragrance is really strange but what man ever does that in today’s society?
Oh my God that was so nice. What chivalry eh?? Dont beat about the bush. Just be happy that he did that. You never know you might see him again, if not look at it this way! You go a great perfume out of it. Keep up with the great customer service as well.

That’s unusual.I’ve been chatted up when I worked in stores, but I never had any expensive gifts like that.As staff at the pharmacy I worked in, a group of us used to get bottles of wine etc off patients at Christmas.But that was about it.
Your story has a touch of romance about it.
Just enjoy the perfume.If he comes back, see what he has to say.If not, well, you had a nice gift for free.And a lovely story to tell your grandkids someday.
