1. when you order from sephora.com (i’m not sure about the international, but maybe), you get 3 free samples!! of REALLY good stuff~ and if you spend $100, you get another "bigger" sample. i usually get perfume samples, which you could probably get at a dept store. also, many good face samples. my extra "bigger" sample was "fresh" lip gloss!! not bigger in size, but cooler ?

2. I think you guys have Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s in Australia….right? So at either of those stores (or ones similar to them) nicely ask the girl working the fragrance counter if she has any samples for you. I do it all the time and have quite a collection. LOL. Also, many stores like Guess have samples in their stores.

7. just go to different stores selling beauty products and ask for samples in order to decide if you want to purchase certain products!!

8. http://www.sampleaday.com has ton of free samples. You dont have to go through a lot of gimmics to get it either which is nice. Many of the samples are international even though it is a US site. A new sample is updated daily. I like them, because I actually GET my samples!

   If you want you can sign up to get their daily samples e-mailed to your inbox, but they dont require it.
