What is oud wood? Oud is a resin produced by the Indonesian Agarwood tree when it is infected by fungus. The resin is an immune response that permeates the wood and creates a complex leathery/sour/woody/salty/ambery-smelling substance used in traditional Arab perfumes and eastern incenses. Oud is an increasingly popular ingredient in western-style fragrances.
What is attar? Attar is the Arabic word for fragrance, and is traditional form of perfume made from distilled florals and resins.

A review of Bath and Body Works’ newest fragrance Twilight Woods.
In case you’re wondering, yes I do work at Bath and Body Works. I don’t like the fragrances because I work there; I work there because I like the fragrances. And no, Twilight Woods has nothing to do with the movie. Twilight Woods will still be on the shelves in 6 or 7 years. Where will the Twilight series be?
One thing I forgot to mention is that this fragrance is very bright.

This is a response to a request by VivaLaPoetess – and am so sorry that it’s taken me ages to get round to it! But I hope you enjoy it!
I’m not a huge fragrance/perfume fan – I only have a few. I go through phases of wearing perfume every day – then can go for a couple of months without wearing any. I like light and fresh fragrances – nothing too strong.
Do let me know what you think about these choices – or indeed any fragrances you love that are light and refreshing!
